Greetings, my name is Patti McGehee and I am your child's computer technology teacher. I received an AS in Computer Science from Piedmont Technical College and my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Southern Wesleyan University. My career started at Piedmont Technical College where I fell in love with teaching. My passion was for teaching young people, so I was thrilled to accept a position at Cambridge Academy in 2000.
My daughter, Emily graduated from Cambridge in 2008, where she had been a student since K5. I was thrilled to see her continue her education with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management followed by a MBA. The excellent education and experience Emily received from Cambridge has helped her to achieve her goals now and should serve her well in the future.
Cambridge is a great place for me to work because of the small family environment. All of the students are special in their own way. I enjoy watching them grow and learn as they move from grade to grade. I love going to school each day to see their smiling faces.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and my dogs: Spice, Max, Tibby, Blue and Bella.
