Technology Curriculum

The mission of our technology program is to create an educational environment that is strengthened and supported by information and communications technology. The goals of the technology program are to develop student technology skills while at the same time integrating computers into each classroom curriculum. Our philosophy is to view technology as educational tools to be used creatively, responsibility, and collaboratively for teaching and learning in order to solve problems and to access, analyze, present, and communicate information.

Students are taught the basic operations and concepts of a computer, keyboarding and research skills, as well as, proficiency in microsoft office. Students create documents in Word, presentations in PowerPoint, publications in Publisher, and spreadsheets using Excel.
